Research on the effect of Agri-Gro on walnut production
Gerald Fillmore grows 200 acres of organic walnuts in Gridley, CA ( about 60 miles north of
Sacramento). 40 acres reached harvestable production in 2004.
In September prior to harvest Gerald foliar fed this 40 acres with 5 gals/acre of fish emulsion
and 1 qt/acre of Agri-Gro®. In a little over a week there was approximately 12 inches of
new growth in many areas of most of the trees. All the trees have a beautiful dark green
healthy color and retained vigor when most other walnuts were losing their leaves.
Gerald has been using Agri-Gro® for the past 4 years and the grade sheet for the 2004
crop showed over 90% jumbos for all varieties.
