Research on the Effect of Agri-Gro on Cantaloupe Production

8.8% increase in boxes of fruit
87 additional boxes harvested per acre over control plots
Size #12 Melons Increased 67% over the Control Area

Application: 3/30 - 4/10, Harvested: 6/28-7/7, Field Sizes: 17 acres each, 32 oz of Agri-Gro & 2 lbs. CB @ planting 6 – 16 oz. Applications thru Drip with one lb. of CB

Conclusions: This farm profited $170.40 more for every acre treated with Agri-Gro. John stated the real gain for this was the fact that for two weeks melon brokers would not purchase sizes 15 and 18 cantaloupes. Due to increased size, he was able to market more of his crop on the Agri-Gro fields.

Conclusions: Agri-Gro strengthened the plant, particularly holding up better in heat stress. No matter how we looked at it, comparing fields of same varieties, or farm average, the Agri-Gro fields beat the entire farm average by at least 103 boxes."
