Research on the Effect of Agri-Gro on Pineapple Production

KEY RESULTS:

Treatments: Research was conducted at Venecia, San Carlos province of Costa Rica. 5 lots were treated with Agri-Gro®. Five lots were left untreated as a control.

The Golden variety was used for the trials and all inputs outside of Agri-Gro® were the same for each lot.

Weight ratio of all treated sections were higher than the control plot and averaged a 28.95% increase.

Treatments: Research was conducted at a prominent farm in Sarapiqui, Heredia province of Costa Rica. 14 sections were treated with Agri-Gro® at various planting dates from April to June. One section was left untreated as a control. The variety and all inputs outside of Agri-Gro® were the same for each section. The plant weight at forcing varied from 4.05 lbs to 6.17lbs with the control section plant weight at 5.59 lbs. 12 liters of Agri-Gro® per hectare were applied during the course of the fertilization cycle.
